Preloved Jurni Refer-a-Friend Scheme – Terms & Conditions

1. Scheme Overview

Organisations that have previously purchased a minibus from Preloved Jurni (a “Referrer”) may refer a new, unrelated organisation (a “Referee”)—such as a school, charity, or community group.

If the Referee purchases a minibus at the advertised price, the Referrer receives £250 in Amazon vouchers for their organisation. The Referee may choose either £250 off the purchase price or £250 in Amazon vouchers for their organisation.

A “Referral” means the submission of a valid recommendation by a Referrer, resulting in a qualifying purchase by a Referee.

2. Eligibility

Referrer:

  • Must be a UK-based organisation that has previously purchased a minibus from Preloved Jurni, and the Referral must be submitted by an authorised representative of that organisation.
  • Only one Referrer per Referee is permitted; the first valid referral submitted is accepted.

Referee:

  • Must be a UK-based organisation with no shared ownership, control, or personnel with the Referrer or its authorised representatives.
  • Must not have previously purchased from Preloved Jurni.

3. Qualifying Conditions

  • Referral must be submitted using the official referral form before the Referee places an order.
  • Referral must include the Referrer’s details, the Referee organisation’s name and contact information, and confirmation that the Referee consents to being contacted.
  • The Referee must complete their purchase within 90 days of the referral submission.
  • The Referee must purchase a minibus at the advertised price.
  • The purchase must be complete (delivery and payment cleared) for either party to receive a reward.

4. Rewards

All rewards are subject to the Referee completing a qualifying purchase, as defined in Section 3.

Referrer:

  • £250 Amazon voucher, issued to the purchasing Referrer’s organisation email, within 30 days of delivery and payment clearance.

Referee:

Choice of either:

  • £250 discount applied at the point of sale; or
  • £250 Amazon voucher to their organisation (non-transferable, digital).

5. Limitations & Fair Use

  • Referrer may refer multiple organisations; all eligible Referrals earn £250 each.
  • Self-referrals are not allowed.
  • Referrals must be made in good faith and on behalf of the Referrer organisation. Mass marketing, automated referrals, paid advertisements, or any form of public promotion are strictly prohibited.
  • Preloved Jurni reserves the right to audit referrals and withhold or reclaim vouchers in cases of suspected fraud, misrepresentation, or breach of these terms.
  • The scheme cannot be combined with any other offers or schemes.
  • Vouchers may be subject to an expiry date and additional terms set by the issuer. It is the recipient’s responsibility to check and comply with those terms. Expired vouchers cannot be reissued.
  • No cash or alternative options are offered. Substitutions are only at Preloved Jurni’s discretion if vouchers are unavailable.

6. Tax & Legal Compliance

  • Receipt of a voucher may constitute a taxable benefit and should be reported accordingly by the recipient’s organisation.
  • Both parties are responsible for any tax implications associated with voucher receipt.
  • Preloved Jurni makes no warranty over benefits; statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

7. Privacy & Data

  • Personal data relating to the Referee, provided by the Referrer, will only be used to administer the scheme and must be shared with appropriate consent.
  • Referrer must ensure Referee consents to data sharing.
  • For further information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. Variation & Termination

  • Preloved Jurni may suspend, withdraw, or vary the scheme at any time. Any valid referrals made before withdrawal will still be honoured under the then-applicable terms.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • Governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
